Writers' Forum

I've just caught up with the latest issue and I see my letter about Daleks was published in Della Galton's column. Check it out if you've got time. It's intersting to read about copyright issues too.

My new People's Friend Pocket Novel is out today. It's number 682 and entitled My Secret Love. Hope you enjoy it.

One of her first customers scatty Phyllis Morton turns out to be the great aunt of Adam Penrose, a man whose marriage proposal she once turned down. When Phyllis disappears, Tamara's life begins to lurch from one crisis to another.

Suite 101

Take a look at Sylvia Kent's interview with me up now on Suite 101. I think she's done a marvellous job.

Short story success

Delighted to report I've just sold a short story to Woman's Weekly entitled Closure. I am so pleased about that one. It's always a thrill.

So glad to be back

For the past few days I have been unable to get in to post. I kept being told the URL was too large, so it's great to be back and posting again. The article about the RNA in the Daily Mail on Saturday has caused quite a furore. Still all publicity is good I think and the RNA is big enough to take anything on the chin.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that air stewardesses wear support tights and they are usually glamorous females aren't they?

Anyway great to be back.

Competiton Success

Had a lovely surprise in the post yesterday morning. I have won the West Sussex Writers' Club short story competiton Writing With Feeling with my short story entitled Respect. The story was suggested to me by a picture of a field of poppies I saw in the newspaper.
